So I'm still in charge of the undergrad contingent at the lab. It's getting to the point where I'm considering talking to my union rep about the unfair compensation that I'm receiving here.
What's that, you say? I'm not part of a union? Well you may be right, but aren't we all a part of one big, happy union? A union of togetherness? Or somesuch?
Really, I shouldn't complain. I enjoy the work, and the pay is okay, and there's perks. I used to be able to get liquid nitrogen whenever I wanted to, but those days are regrettably long gone (perhaps with good reason). Sometimes, though, I can get my hands on some interesting stuff. Like today for example, I received a planometer (in mint condition, I might add) from my supervisor. Ask and ye shall receive, that's my motto. And my backup motto is: It's always easier to ask forgiveness than to ask permission.
So what's a planometer? Very good question...why don't you ask Google? Hahaha...seriously
Pirates 2 was a load of fun, to noone's surprise. I mean, come on, the pirate has an octopus for a head. How ass-kicking is that? The correct answer is: very.
Mmmmm...red-currant jam is soo good. Especially when it's homemade. Thanks again, Olya
That's it....for now...
